Aspen Medical Senior Project Manager Construction - Makassar in Makassar, Indonesia

The SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER main roles are:

 

  • Project planning by developing comprehensive project plans for hospital construction projects, including defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines and work together with Legal Department making sure completed required license to start construction process (ie. AMDAL etc)

  • Compliance and regulation by ensuring required resources, and estimating costs, codes, safety standards, and other relevant guidelines specific to healthcare facilities.

  • Stakeholder management by collaborating with Director of Construction and Infrastructure Development of Aspen Medical, Board of Management, hospitals administration, procurement department, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to align project goals and expectations.

  • Budget and cost management by creating and managing project budgets for hospital construction projects.

  • Design and construction oversight by reviewing architectural and engineering plans, ensuring compliance with functional requirements, Ministry of Health Indonesia’s regulation, safety regulations, and healthcare standards.

  • Vendor and contractor management by selecting, negotiating contracts with, and managing relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors involved in the hospital construction project. The process of tender vendor and contractor will advise by Director of Construction and Infrastructure of Aspen Medical and Board of Management.

  • Risk assessment and mitigation by identifying potential risks and challenges associated with hospital construction projects, such as construction disruption, safety hazards, and regulatory issues.

  • Quality assurance by implementing quality control measures to ensure the construction of hospital facilities meets industry standards and project specifications.

  • Project documentation and reporting by maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports.

  • Commissioning and handover by coordinating the commissioning process, ensuring the proper functioning and integration of hospital systems and equipment.

    SELECTION CRITERIA:

     

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.

  • Extensive experience in managing hospitals construction projects, with a minimum of 10 years proven track in the field.

  • In-depth knowledge in healthcare construction, regulation and best practice in hospital construction.

  • Project management skills.

  • Contract and vendor management.

  • Problem solving and decision making.

  • Prefer native Makassar
