Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guardium Database Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and development of Guardium policies, filters, queries, reports, and audit processes in a large and mature Guardium environment. This individual will play a key role in validating deployments, traffic collection, creating reports, and communicating findings to all levels of the organization. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to provide suggestions to improve performance, streamline workflow, and contribute to internal documentation efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop Guardium policies, filters, queries, reports, and audit processes.

  • Validate deployments and ensure accurate traffic collection.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels regarding Guardium functionality, findings, and obstacles.

  • Provide suggestions for performance improvement and workflow optimization.

  • Conduct investigations and contribute to internal documentation efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience working with IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring.

  • Proficiency in data analytical and investigative techniques.

  • Expert knowledge of IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring concepts, configuration, policies, and rules.

  • Strong database experience with SQL Server and Oracle.

  • Experience with Guardium ATAP is a plus.
