What You Will Do

As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will support the business initiatives of the Commercial Excellence business unit by providing financial insight, analysis and perspective. Responsible for month-end close activities, annual budgeting and projection cycles, ongoing report generation, ad-hoc analysis, and assisting with all matters that impact the company's financial performance.

  • Strategic finance partner for the Branch Operations team within Commercial Excellence, supporting the Joint Replacement and Trauma & Extremities businesses in the US .

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis of the Commercial Excellence P&L as well as provide budget, projection, and actual variance commentary during month-end.

  • Lead monthly financial reviews with Branch Managers, and manage ongoing monthly performance metric reports for management.

  • Build new tools for branch leadership to help track its progress, typically in PowerBI.

  • Contribute to the creation of monthly and quarterly business reviews by providing insightful analysis, advice, and recommendations to management.

  • Assist with the month-end close process through journal entry preparation and account reconciliation of key accounts.

  • Coordinate and assist in all aspects of the annual budget and quarterly projection submissions.

  • Other special projects as assigned by the Finance Leader.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Preferred concentration in Accounting or Finance

  • MBA and/or CPA preferred.

  • 2+ years of diversified experience in a financial and accounting environment

*Preferred candidates would be within commuting distance to our Mahwah, NJ office. This is a flexible work model that combines remote and in-office work.
