Madrid Jr/Sr High School is actively seeking a 6-12 Activities Director / Student Success Coordinator to join our team starting in the fall of 2024. We offer a positive school culture and supportive community located just outside the Ames, Ankeny, and Des Moines areas. Come join our team!

Requirements:

Valid Iowa teaching license with appropriate endorsements. Ability to obtain Evaluator License from Iowa BOEE;

Evaluator License | Department of Education (iowa.gov)

Activities Director: Under the general supervision of 6-12 administration, to manage and coordinate Madrid Jr/Sr High School activities, which includes sports programs and fine arts, and to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to participate and share in the benefits of the district's programs. Student Success Coordinator: Assist students, staff, families, and building administration in implementing a school-wide behavior and academic system of tiered interventions for at risk students. In addition, the Student Success Coordinator will provide individual interventions for students, professional development, and consultation for staff.
