Description

This position will help Amazon Business (AB) realize its enormous potential to help businesses of all sizes flourish.

You'll employ a variety of methods to generate the insights for multiple stakeholders, including product teams, sales, and marketing, to make better decisions for our customers, particularly in the Post-Purchase area.

Key job responsibilities

Amazon Business is looking for a UX Researcher to help reinvent how businesses buy for work. Launched in 2015, Amazon Business aims to make business purchasing easier, faster, and more efficient.

As a UX Researcher based in Madrid, Spain, you’ll join a fun, growing global team of user experience experts taking a fresh-eyed look at the complex world of business purchasing, particularly on the post-purchase journey (including AI assistants, Orders, mobile experience, and Customer Service tooling).

Your focus will cover all aspects of UX research, from learning more about our customers to understand needs and motivations to validating the impact of our designs.

What you’ll do:

· Plan and execute a wide variety of research activities with customers, with a focus on qualitative studies. Experience in quantitative methods will be also considered.

· Generate insights from business analytics and customer feedback.

· Collaborate with senior researchers, designers and product managers on research projects to solve problems with data.

· Work across all of Amazon to drive better research practices and bring attention to business customers.

This position is located in MADRID, Spain, and candidates must be proficient in business English to be considered.

A day in the life

The day-to-day for this position will focus on working with a more senior researcher in finding, sizing and prioritizing research opportunities; developing study plans for those research opportunities; executing those studies, and presenting the findings to stakeholders.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the field of research.

  • Master's degree or equivalent.

  • Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B or B2C e-commerce or financial services.

  • Experience with RITE usability method and an understanding of how to impact design and product decisions in a fast-moving and fast-changing development environment.

  • Broad knowledge of research methodologies and the proven ability to execute the right methodology to get the needed result.

  • A deep understanding of UX research, agile UX, and user-centered design.
