Global Digital Services is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our mission is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global, and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture. The Digital Hub Madrid is one of our global key locations to deliver regional and global solutions for BASF.
Within our unit GDE/AF – Technical Management & Compliance SAP Core Solutions – we ensure secure, stable and compliant operations of BASF’s SAP Application Platforms with a special focus on interfaces and SAP security. Our global SAP system landscape covers a high variety of different SAP applications including e.g., ERP, BW, HR and supports all critical business processes of BASF on a global level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You own, understand and continue optimizing the monitoring reports/analyses of all our tools
You use obtained analyses finding strategies & opportunities to consult on how to optimize/change the use of our tools with all stakeholders
You design and implement automation in server maintenance, operations, load balancing, approval workflows and more
You help our stakeholders building reports, analyses, and workflows in Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx and KNIME Internal
You do community work by helping the Product Owner and Product Manager on technical level to understand what the main problems are discussed in those communities (in MS Teams)
QUALIFICATIONS
University Degree in Information Technology, Data Science/Business Analytics or equivalent work experience
- (> 2 years) of experience in Data Analytics
Sophisticated experience in automation and scripting
Interest in latest developments in digitalization
Advanced communication skills e.g. obtained through trainer-roles
Experience with BI Tools (PowerBI, Tableau) or Data Transformation Tools (Knime, Alteryx, Xtract Universal)
Full professional English proficiency
Excellent communication skills and the ability to transfer knowledge
Knowledge of Cloud-Applications (preferably Azure)
Experience with agile methodologies
Data Warehouse architecture basics
Programming (Python, SQL) basics
Basics of Data Sciences, Distributed Processing Systems & Lakehouse Concepts
First experience with IT-processes (e.g. ITIL)
