Job Description Summary

As lead Project Manager, you will provide execution leadership for a portfolio of Power Transmission product Trading contracts (GIS/ AIS substations, Hypact complex projects, High Voltage Power Transformers and Services) for Spanish customers.

On this position with close coordination with PT supplying units you will be responsible for project execution following contractual requirements, time and risk management in particular for on-shore activities, profit and loss accountability and customer satisfaction

As key player for the future business on the country, strong return of experience, support and collaboration with tendering and commercial teams at bid stage.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a single point of contact for customer contacts and internal / external project team.

  • Contracts scope, terms and conditions, risk and opportunities and project milestones analysis

  • Customer kick-off meeting plus regular progress reviews as per contract and/or customer requirements and confirm strong customer intimacy.

  • Kick-off meeting with Grid Solutions supplying units and other internal contributors to confirm roles and responsibilities plus regular project progress reviews with involved teams starting at the transfer review with tendering/commercial teams till close out review.

  • Strong communication with customer teams to support supplying units for engineering approvals and facilitate the progress of activities and the on-time delivery.

  • Coordinate all local activities related to the project (Field Service Team, local procurement, logistics, management of local subcontractors in charge of site activities, installation of supplied equipment, coordination of site activities in compliance with EHS standards with close coordination with supplying units, subcontractors, and customer…)

  • Ensure Risk & Opportunities regular assessment, ensure follow-up of actions plan and claim management when required.

  • Close follow-up of budget and actual costs to ensure that project finance performance is achieved (Materials, labor, logistic, site subcontractor and other costs), propose options/alternatives to optimize the costs permitting to improve projects profitability.

  • Ensure and control the sales, invoicing to customer and cash targets for the projects. Close follow-up of customer payments . On time reporting and forecast.

  • EHS : ensure EHS provisions for contract team and customers are met at site, compliant with actual GE EHS rules

  • Strong coordination with tendering and commercial teams to prepare the offers and negotiate the contracts. Strong return of experience required to prepare future offers, with a desirable basic knowledge of Italian procurement law.

  • In coordination with commercial team, support to develop business opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering; additional relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant Project Management experience.

  • Deep technical knowledge on High Voltage equipment and business

  • Have good communication skills English (oral and written).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

  • SAP Knowledge
