Meta Marketing Science Partner - Iberia in Madrid, Spain

Summary:

The Marketing Science team at Meta in Iberia is actively seeking a full-time, experienced Marketing Science Partner based in Madrid. In Marketing Science, our mission is to unlock the full potential of businesses on Meta platforms by transforming advertising performance and industry practices through the use of data-driven analytical methods.We are looking for a skilled and motivated Marketing Science Partner who can lead Meta Measurement strategy and operating model in Iberia for our largest CPG, Auto, Retail, Luxury advertisers, their agencies, and the industry on the need to make all marketing measurable. We are specifically looking for a candidate with client facing expertise and experience in research, analytics or ad effectiveness who can coach client and agency teams to deliver strategic measurement, research.More broadly, the chosen candidate will work with a diverse set of internal stakeholders in Marketing Science, Sales, Creative, Marketing, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has client facing experience, knows different measurement framework, will be passionate about advertising, demonstrate a strong understanding of the media landscape, be intellectually curious, and be able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects.

Required Skills:

Marketing Science Partner - Iberia Responsibilities:

  1. Manage learning agendas for a complex set of clients and agencies in CPG, Auto, Retail, Luxury in Iberia.

  2. Implement a strategy and service model that progresses all CPG, Auto, Retail, Luxury clients marketing effectiveness via scaled proactive programs addressing the needs of the Iberia region.

  3. Represent the Iberia Marketing Science team internally and externally with cross functional teams and at industry events relative to CPG, Auto, Retail, Luxury in Iberia verticals.

  4. Drive client, vertical, and industry adoption of preferred measurement methodologies, products, and approaches

  5. Design tests to showcase the power of good measurement using client data and Meta or third-party technology tools

  6. Conduct in-depth standard and custom ad effectiveness studies for Meta advertisers to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and across media

  7. Communicate complex research results to a general audience

  8. Provide feedback to and collaborate with Product, R&D, and Partnerships to identify opportunities for new features, products, and partnerships and drive client engagement around measurement innovation, including product alphas and beta

  9. Partner closely with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Product, R&D, Ads Research, Creative Shop etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ yrs experience in a directly related field such as marketing science, data science and/or marketing analytics in media measurement space, research methodologies and key vendors (3+ years with a Masters )

  2. Client-facing experience, including ability to drive meetings or change through adoption of new products or research methods.

  3. Ability to communicate technical content to general audience.

  4. 5 years + experience in an analytical role and independently scoping and executing research projects with clients and or cross-functional stakeholders

  5. Experience leading at an industry level and with senior clients

  6. Experience analyzing and manipulating data sets to understand patterns and provide insights

  7. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Sociology or similar

  8. Fluent in Spanish and English

  1. Experience working with structured and unstructured data-sets, statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS as well as data extraction tools such as Hive and/or SQL, or coding languages such as Python

  2. Experience with MMM, field experiments, experimental design, survey sampling, and/or panel data

  3. Advanced degree in a quantitative field or an MBA
