Description

ICF Next, one of Europe’s premier integrated communication agencies, is looking for an energetic Communication Project Manager to aid in the execution of large-scale campaigns for clients throughout the European Union.

Role Overview:

The purpose of this role is to assist EU Delegations in communicating the EU's global impact, aligned with the European Commission's priority of "A stronger Europe in the world." EU Delegations play a critical role in highlighting the EU's partnership efforts in various countries, where public awareness of the EU’s contributions remains low. Operating within the EU's policy framework, these Delegations must enhance their communication on priority topics that resonate with their target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the political strategy team to provide support to EU Delegations.

  • Offer feedback and guidance on proposals, concepts, materials, and other content as needed.

  • Assist in managing external communication agencies contracted by EU Delegations.

  • Review and analyze documents, proposals, plans, and actions, offering pertinent input.

  • Contribute to the drafting and development of new decisions, annual work programs, and related documents.

  • Support the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of meetings with EU Delegations, Directorates-General (DGs), and other partners.

  • Provide feedback on content and creative assets developed by external agencies and internal teams when requested.

  • Participate in working groups and progress meetings as required.

Required Knowledge:

  • Language Fluent in English, French OR Portuguese OR Spanish (one of these 3) is a plus.

  • Expertise in communication and information strategy.

  • Experience in campaigning, content marketing, public relations, or marketing.

  • Understanding of political strategy, international relations, and development cooperation within the EU context.

  • Proficiency in project, service, and quality management.

  • Preferred: Familiarity with management standards, methodologies, and reporting methods within the European Commission environment.
