Position Summary

The CAD/PLM specialist is responsible to provide technical and process related support to internal customers in respect of all Engineering IT applications with focus on PLM/CAD and the integrations with CAM/CAE.

Main Responsabilities

  • Provide first and second level support and coordinate third level support activities with internal partners and software vendors.

  • Gather business requirements, document those and provide solution proposals.

  • Research for available solutions in response to business requirements and evaluate new software.

  • Implement agreed solutions (configuration, customization development) in the context of changes and projects and according to the established processes and tools.

  • Create test plans, execute tests.

  • Document solutions, perform key user training.

  • Lead working groups/little project teams.

  • Manage plans and status reports for operative projects (like software upgrades)

  • Maintain and extend the existing security / access management framework, manage users and their access rights.

  • Perform (client) test installations and prepare installation packages for new software and patches/upgrades.

  • Monitor license usage and timely inform about potential shortages.

  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally within industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (IT, Engineering) from an accredited university.

  • Work experience with ideally at least two of the following applications:Teamcenter, NX, AutoCAD or willingness and interest to learn the missing ones.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and service orientation.

  • Very strong communication skills and experience communicating to diverse internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong customer focus.
