Working a variety of functions in a fast paced environment. Requires the flexibility to move between processing demographic information on the servicing systems, to physical requirements required to operate machines, trouble shooting, and routing of mail and shipments. Attention to detail, and quick response to high priority requests from a variety of internal and external sources. Ability to maintain tracking of department functions, running reports, and assisting Supervisor and team lead as required.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter who is at an INTERMEDIATE level with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and eager to cross-train across the department.

*Due to the nature of the work, this position does have a minimum lifting requirement of 35 pounds *

Additional Requirements:

Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance

Must reside in the United States and be a United States citizen

This process involves collecting and providing 7 years of previous work experience, previous addresses, and contact information of people that can verify this information

Must not be delinquent or in default with any federal debt

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy.

  2. Assist with sorting, filing, retrieving, and tracking loan documents received through different channels (physical mail, faxes, emails, and customer uploads) within established turn times.

  3. Update demographic and other additional information on customer accounts via the servicing system.

  4. Serve as resource person and subject matter expert within area.

  5. Organize and oversee workflow, ensuring daily/weekly/monthly service standards are achieved.

  6. Prepare periodic and special reports utilizing statistical data (productivity rates, error rates, liability, work guides, workflow, and various month end reports).

  7. Perform designated quality control functions to minimize department risks and provide feedback to Supervisor, utilizing real time systems and statistical data (productivity and error rates).

  8. Assist with daily production work by ensuring all functions are processed accurately and timely within corporate standards.

  9. Serve as a Liaison to leadership team and other departments in resolving problems and/or issues.

  10. Lead and supervise team in absence of departmental management.

  11. Develop associates’ skills by assisting with training, cross-training, quality assurance, and mentoring.

  12. Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement.

  13. Operate equipment: mail opener, mail jogger, high speed scanner, printer, etc.

  14. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE :

6 months to 1 year customer service & general work experience preferred.

Starting pay for this position is $17.20/hour
