Our staff help shape communities through a commitment to quality and relationships. Findorff is seeking an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our Equipment Garage team. Primary duties include maintaining our equipment fleet to the highest standards through routine maintenance, assessments, and job readiness inspections as well as diagnosing and completing necessary repairs. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair light and medium duty commercial construction machinery Identify worn or defective parts and make necessary repairs Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical equipment Operation of machinery as part of the assessment and job readiness process Maintain a clean and safe work area and contribute to overall organization of the shop Keeping the shop organized and following all procedures Qualifications: 3 years\' experience troubleshooting and repairing construction equipment Ability to communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organization Ability to read and interpret machine schematics Familiar with hydraulic and electrical systems Experience with gas, diesel, and LP fuel systems Valid driver license with dependable transportation Benefits: Company provided tools Competitive Union Wages (Laborers Local 464) 100% employer paid benefits and pension 1st shift hours, 8 hour shifts mentorship and development Diversity matters.
