Summary:
Somatus is seeking a talented individual to guide and develop thought leadership and create content to support brand reputation initiatives. As a Senior Manager, Content and Brand Reputation, you will be required to research and define desired target audiences, manage the content creation and publishing process, and monitor metrics.
To ensure success in this role, you should show a keen eye for detail and be highly creative. A skilled content creator should be an expert storyteller and possess excellent knowledge of content trends. You’ll work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing team. The role demands the ability to prioritize and execute across multiple strategies, having excellent interpersonal skills, commitment to continuous improvement of your knowledge and skills, and that you contribute to the continuous improvement of our team and organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop content strategies to effectively reach our desired target audiences and marketing goals
Meet with the leaders, sales, and marketing teams to ideate and define content goals
Research content, technology, and healthcare trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing
Hands-on experience creating and writing content for a variety of platforms; includes blogs, websites, social media, direct marketing campaigns, and print
Proofreading and editing content before publishing; taking ownership for quality and accuracy
Establish standards based on style guides, compliance, voice, and tone
Partner to ensure that SEO and SMO strategies are effectively implemented
Manage content calendars and ensure content remains consistent across all platforms
Coordinate with the marketing and design teams to ensure the timely delivery of assignments
Track engagement analytics and generating reports and presentations
Build, maintain, recover, and promote our online presence – work with agencies and peers to ensure Somatus has a positive image online

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar
minimum of 7 years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage content production lifecycle in a fast-paced working environment
The ability to stay well-informed of content and healthcare trends and advancements in technology
Knowledge of various content platforms such as social media, blogs, and print media
Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress
Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office
A portfolio of published work submitted with resume
Travel Requirements
• Ability to travel as needed, up to 10%
