JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Histology Technician - Surgical Pathology - 30181 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : This is a full-time, FTE 1.0, 1st shift position. Monday - Friday, day hours as needed by lab. Hours may vary based on department needs. Pay : * External hires may be eligible for up to a \$4000.00 sign on bonus. Be part of something remarkable Help bridge the gap between a tissue sample being taken and a diagnosis being made by a pathologist. We are seeking a Senior Histo Technician (HT or HTL)- Surgical Pathology to: * Provide daily direction to laboratory staff with regard to laboratory policies and procedures and serve as the dedicated resource for procedures, equipment and education. * Serve as a comprehensive provider of laboratory testing, expert medical interpretation of specimens and innovation in laboratory technology * Develop and maintain teaching / training materials. * Coordinate work-flow throughout the Laboratory to ensure quality results are reported in a clinically useful time frame.
