JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Sanford Lab in the Department of Soil and Environmental Sciences is hiring a research technician to support the Dairy, Soil, and Water Regeneration project. This is a public-private research endeavor involving six universities, the Soil Health Institute, the Innovation Center for US Dairy, and private industry seeking to improve the environmental footprint of dairy production by filling critical knowledge gaps associated with current and novel agricultural technologies. This position involves a combination of field, lab, and office work. As part of this multi-year study, you will help maintain experiments and be responsible for the collection of data relating to greenhouse gas fluxes, agronomic performance, soil carbon stocks, and soil health parameters from large, experimental field plot studies and farm-scale field studies. Candidates with an interest in agricultural research and environmental monitoring are encouraged to apply.
