Job Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is the fastest growing hyperscale IaaS platform. As OCI continues to expand its offerings, the Enterprise Engineering Product Management team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the use of OCI cloud services for internal use and for the needs of our Oracle customers.

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Director of Product Management to lead our Enterprise Engineering Product Management team. This role is crucial in developing and driving the strategy and roadmap for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure’s Enterprise Engineering initiatives, including leading product strategy for 3 rd party integrations and with the design and deployment of OCI products enabling enterprise customers to easily drive secure lifecycle operations. This role will also manage a Communications organization focused on providing clear and concise information to Oracle and its customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion focused on cloud services or related technologies.

  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, high-stakes product initiatives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and multicloud strategies.

  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing impactful teams.

  • Customer-obsessed mentality with a strong focus on delivering value to customers.

  • Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent partner management skills with experience in building and nurturing strategic partnerships.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent. An MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Enterprise Engineering SVP and VPs to develop and implement a comprehensive Enterprise Engineering strategy and roadmap in alignment with OCI’s overall business goals

  • Develop a mature Product Management function within the organization covering a suite of products for internal and external customer usage

  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and other team members to bring new features and services to market

  • Understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and strategy

  • Provide thought leadership and drive innovation in the enterprise customer domain

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and deliver solutions that meet their needs

  • Build impactful product collateral for use at customer events, executive meetings

  • Foster strong partnerships with strategic partners

  • Drive cross-functional teams to deliver on product achievements and ensure a seamless customer experience

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $160,000 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
