UW MEDICAL FOUNDATION Patient Scheduling Specialist in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Patient Scheduling Specialist - Bilingual - Family Medicine - 31532 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic. We are seeking a Bilingual Patient Scheduling Specialist to: * Assist patients in-person, on the phone, or through electronic correspondence to schedule appointments, update patient information, and check patients in and out. * Coordinate physician schedules and reserve time on physician calendars. * Counsel patients on prior authorization, referral requirements, and insurance networks. * Possess bilingual verbal and written skills in order to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and staff.
