JOB REQUIREMENTS: Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant - Inpatient Neurohospitalist - 23936 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE, Monday-Friday, working 4 days with 10-hour shifts with a 1:7 Sunday rotation working at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Open to new grads. . As an Advanced Practice Provider, you\'ll play an integral role on our inpatient care team by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: * Open to new grads. * Provide neurological services including general neurology, stroke, and neurology consults to adult inpatients at University Hospital. You will care for patients with diagnoses across the spectrum of neurological disorders including, but not limited to: stroke, seizures, epilepsy, mental status changes, neuromuscular disorders, MS, headache and movement disorders. * Work in collaboration with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff to provide on-going patient care and management. * Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including: VNS/DBS reprogramming back-up and Lumbar punctures.
