CERTI-DRY Mitigation Technician in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position will require hands-on experience in the trades: Electrical, Plumbing, Demo, Framing, Finish Carpentry, Flooring, Drywall/Painting, and General Repairs. You will be working independently within a team environment. Our Restoration Technicians are responsible for completing assigned work orders and identifying issues at the property. What will a typical day look like? 1. You will arrive daily at the shop (unless assigned to meet at the job site) 2. Prepare trucks and supplies as needed. Help to maintain inventory 3. Prepare job sites for daily work. 4. Clean job sites and tools daily as required 5. Maintain both your individually owned tools and company-owned tools. 6. Support Lead Tech as needed with job support, photos, clean-up, etc. 7. Complete punch lists on job sites. Clean work areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site. Cover surfaces with laminated plastic covering material. Install handrails under the direction of a carpenter. Select tools, equipment, or materials from storage and transport items to work site. Smooth or sand surfaces to remove ridges, tool marks, glue, or caulking. Align, straighten, plumb, or square forms for installation. Cut and install insulating or sound-absorbing material. Cut timbers, lumber, or paneling to specified dimensions. Drill holes in timbers or lumber. Fasten timbers or lumber with glue, screws, pegs, or nails and install hardware. Glue and clamp edges or joints of assembled parts. Hold plumb bobs, sighting rods, or other equipment to aid in establishing reference points and lines. Verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards by observing worker performance. Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, or anticipated delays. Evaluate industrial operations for compliance with permits or regulations related to the generation, storage, treatment, transportation, or disposal of hazardous materials or waste. Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance. Prepare production documents, such as standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, or productivity reports. Provide advice or training to other technicians. Recommend corrective or preventive actions to assure or improve product quality or reliability. Select cleaning materials, tools, or equipment. Select material quantities or processing methods needed to achieve efficient production. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: General experience in general trade work or in a specific trade work.
