JOB REQUIREMENTS: Medical Technologist Senior Float - 28672 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : This is a full-time, FTE 1.0, 1st shift position. Monday - Friday, varying shift start times between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., with varying end times between 4:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Hours may vary based on department needs. Pay : * External hires may be eligible for a \$4000 sign on bonus. We are seeking a Senior Medical Technologist (MT), Float - Generalist to: * Provide daily direction to other laboratory staff with regard to laboratory workload, policies, procedures, and recommend adjustments to staffing, policies and procedures. * Serve as a consult for test performance and technical problems. * Motivate, coordinate and support staff to ensure quality results are reported in a timely manner. * Assure that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory\'s established performance specifications and that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is properly functioning. Or Bachelor\'s degree must include minimally 60 semester hours or equivalent, that includes either: * 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses OR 24 semester hours - 6 chemistry, 6 biology and 12 chemistry, biology, medical laboratory technology in any combination Preferred - Bachelor\'s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS). Master\'s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (MLS) or related science or healthcare field.
