Job Description

The Medical Device Assembler primarily entails assembling and testing medical device assemblies, final products, and accessories as per provided manufacturing documentation. The Medical Device Assembler will be involved i diagnosing assembly issues, conducting repairs, and maintaining testing equipment, all while ensuring compliance with the company's quality system and medical device regulations.

Essential Functions

  • Follow established work instructions, policies, and procedures for assembling, testing, and repairing tasks.

  • Conduct assembly diagnosis and repair procedures as needed.

  • Ensure timely completion of all required training.

  • Maintain a well-organized and professional workspace.

  • Utilize various common hand tools and semi-automatic production equipment proficiently.

  • Promptly notify the area Supervisor or Team Lead of any quality concerns.

  • Assist in training other production assemblers when necessary.

  • Demonstrate strong focus on assigned duties.

  • Exhibit excellent hand-to-hand and hand-to-eye coordination.

  • Perform repetitive tasks while seated or standing for extended periods, as required.

  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail while multitasking under tight deadlines.

  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assembly drawings

  • Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality procedures, regulations, and policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or local equivalent

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret fundamental written technical information proficiently

  • Evidence of meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to quality work standards

  • Proficiency in communicating effectively using English (or the local language)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two-Year college technical degree program in electronics or equivalent.

  • Experience working in a regulated medical device cGMP environment or equivalent

  • SAP knowledge

Organizational Relationship/Scope:

This role will require cross functional relationships with the Supply Chain team as well as the Engineering group as required.

Working Conditions:
