JOB REQUIREMENTS: Medical Assistant, Ambulatory Care Float - 28456 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE day shift position. Monday - Friday between the hhours of 7:30AM - 5:30PM, no weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : UW Health offers a competitive compensation package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. External hires may be eligible for up to a \$3,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). We are seeking a Medical Assistant ( MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to: * Join our amazing group of float team members to collaborate in delivering remarkable patient-family centered care. * Enjoy expanding your healthcare skills while floating to multiple Primary or Specialty Care clinics throughout UW Health. * Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals in our Primary or Specialty Care clinics to provide care ranging from preventative to highly specialized programs and most everything else in between. * Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, document chief complaint, medications, and allergies as well as administer medications, immunizations and treatments. * Educate and promote the importance of wellness and healthy lifestyles to patients and families.
