JOB REQUIREMENTS: Maintenance Operator - 31603 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance Operator Fluor & Energy Materials , an Orbia business, is looking for a Maintenance Operator to be based at our (Site) in Madison,WI! Job Summary/ Purpose The position will focus on technical upkeep of the facility/utilities and production equipment for the electrolyte blending operations. The role will be responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, and civil integrity of the site as well as the inspection, maintenance, and overhaul of mechanical and electrical equipment. This position is responsible for executing production of electrolyte solutions in the electrolyte production plant in Madison, WI, including dispensing materials to the batch, blending the material using 50L - 200L mixing equipment, and filling kegs. Main Responsibilities * Understand and diagnose problems, necessary for the safe and reliable operation of the site. * Ensure that plant availability and reliability results meet the requirements of the business. * Work closely with engineering staff to understand problem areas and develop viable options to resolve these issues. * Assist engineering team to analyze asset repair costs and recommend capital projects that would reduce the site\'s fixed costs, while increasing equipment availability. * Support creation of the annual Engineering/Maintenance Improvement plan and ensure that each of the engineering staff complete their component of the plan. * Ensure that the site is operated and maintained in a safe manner. * Participate in the site based Staff Safety Team, which reviews key safety objectives, unusual occurrences, temporary modifications and safety related projects.
