Amentum Information Technology (IT) Manager - Remote & Haiti in Madison, Wisconsin

Amentum, a large government contract company, is seeking a Information Technology (IT) Manager for a pending contract award in Haiti. This position will be based remote, but will travel to Haiti as needed to support this contract.

POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Manager is responsible for responsible the supervision and management of information technology (IT) personnel onsite and ensuring that the IT systems used by the organization comply CMMC/ NIST SP 800-171 rev2 Information Technology while supporting the Army mission. This will include, but not be limited to maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and recommending needed hardware / software as needed along with meeting all documentation and reporting requirements.

When onsite, the IT Manager shall be available within 2 hours to meet on the installation with Government personnel to discuss problem areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of three years (3) previous experience at a military installation with similar mission/project in scope and nature, preferably in a government contract support role

  • MAXIMO experience required

  • Qualified and trained in the operation of at least one of the Army Information Systems (AISs) used in the contract, including the ability to serve as Local System Administrator

  • Previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Valid US or local driver's license and US passport

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

  • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment as required

  • Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide)

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong management skills

  • Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards

  • Skills such as walking, running, climbing, crawling, and jumping and other similar physical activities.

  • Ability to endure extreme climate conditions and be able to work in an outdoor setting

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

  • High school or equivalent experience.

  • Preferred Certification : A Microsoft Certified Professional certification

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS

This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.
