Job Title: Help Desk Technician
Location: Madison, WI - Hybrid Work Schedule (Includes Local Travel)
Salary: $50-60,000/year

Robert Half is currently seeking a Help Desk Technician for our client in Madison, WI, who can provide top-notch support to our various teams and clients. In this role, you will assist users, troubleshoot hardware and software, and maintain a high level of professionalism to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Address technical issues involving Microsoft's entire suite of business applications and operating systems
Support, maintain and update hardware and software for desktops, printers, and mobile devices
Provide hardware and software support for servers
Work with firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
Log client issues accurately in our ticket management system
Demonstrate a thorough customer service focus which meets client satisfaction results
Exhibit complete accountability of incoming tickets, addressing time-sensitive issues promptly
Communicate issues/solutions effectively and meet deadlines
Ability to work with vendors to ensure customer environment stability
Willingness and ability to travel on-site to meet customer needs
Requirements
Qualifications:
Superior communication and customer service skills
Active driver’s license and auto insurance
Familiarity with Windows and/or Apple operating systems
Proficient in remote hardware troubleshooting
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Group and Forms
Familiarity with Azure AD, Microsoft Endpoint, Autopilot, and Intune
General knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (On-Premise and Online), VMware, and Hypervisor technology
Understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
Adeptness in using Microsoft Server technologies
Must acquire relevant certification within six months of being hired
