May also include self-funded groups with under 50 employees. Account managers are involved in implementation and providing personal service to retain insurance membership while supporting growth. Develop and build relationships with group leaders and representative agents to ensure business year to year, especially when contracts expire. Manage/consult with WPS group accounts on plan benefits as a group. Assist in the education of group members through virtual or in-person benefit meetings. Consider employee claims of your assigned groups and make the best recommendations on courses of action and assist implementation of benefit program strategies. Ensure the resolution of issues for clients. Facilitate the setup of new and renewing groups, including the use of external on-site transition meetings.
