Trachte, LLC Electrical Design Reviewer in Madison, Wisconsin

Completes final design review of electrical assembly drawing sets prior to release to the production staff.

Reviews each project's prepared and completed electrical design drawing set for criteria to include, but not limited to:

  • Correlation of material items regarding quantities and types listed on the Electrical Bill of Materials (EBOM) with their intended use.

  • Research and correlate manufacturers equipment dimensions with depicted drawing layouts.

  • Research and correlate manufacturers’ equipment types and descriptions with those listed on the EBOM and respectively shown within the drawing set.

  • Check for proper use of standardized Trachte electrical components and drawing schematics.

  • Check for proper use of standardized Trachte drawing elevations and pictorial or text representations throughout the drawing set.

Establish and maintain an updated cut sheet file for selection and use of specific equipment information to transmit with initial drawings and/or within customer O&M Manuals.

Upon completion of the drawing reviews, effectively communicate non-correlated equipment items and/or drawing variations of accepted Trachte standards to each respective design team via a written text summary for corrective action.

Insert/file communicated text summary within associated project files.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school graduate and five years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the installation of electrical wiring and equipment relating to manufacturing or the construction trade.

  • Be familiar with and possess a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.

  • State ofWisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
