JOB REQUIREMENTS: Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - X-ray - 11453 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to: * To perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. * Will need to be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. * Must have the knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. * Serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and participate in the instruction of other technologists and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research. EOE, including disability/vets Work Schedule : 90% FTE, night shift. Week one schedule: Thursday 6:00PM - 6:00AM; Friday and Saturday 10:00PM - 8:00AM. Week two schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10:00PM - 8:00AM. Weekends and holidays required as scheduled. Standby call rotations required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Preferred - Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field. Work Experience : Minimum - Previous healthcare experience. Preferred - Two (2) years clinical experience. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - * Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License. Out of state applicants are encouraged to apply and will need obtain Wisconsin Radiological License prior to starting. * CPR certification required within three months of hire. * If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role, Bone Mineral Densitometry certification within 30 months of hire. Preferred - * Radiology certification. * If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role: ARRT Bone Densitometry Technologist (BD) or ISCD Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) within 1 year of completing orientation.
