JOB REQUIREMENTS: Fetch Rewards, Inc. seeks a Data Platform Engineering Lead based in Madison, Wisconsin. The job duties for the Data Platform Engineering Lead include: Design, create and maintain a platform that processes high throughput events and delivers them to a data lake or makes them available for real time consumption using Kafka and stream processing frameworks like Flink. Implement high availability and durability best practices for the platform. Develop CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid iteration and deployment using Bitbucket pipelines. Support and maintain large repositories with automated testing and validation. Take application code and productionalize the deployment using images, containers, and orchestration tools to deliver highly available services on Kubernetes. Build robust and actionable monitoring and alerting solutions in Grafana. Create documentation for complex tools to enable easy knowledge transfer and facilitate training of new team members. Lead and mentor team members and interns on Data Platform Engineering best practices and tools.
