Description:

Discovery In Vitro Screening Team in Metabolism (DMPK) Chemistry lab work but the theory is more biology. In-vitro works all with test tubes. End product is data. Trying to find trends in the study like trends against the biological samples. Research Analysts will work with biological samples like plasma, blood, urine, feces and etc. Will be both animal and human samples. Support in life team and process samples. Will be running basic wet chemistry techniques like pipetting, cell counting and centrifuge. Maintain cell lines and grow cell lines to get ready for assays Cell culture is the focus Will operate Mass Spec, doing extractions and running own samples in the future. The work is like an Animal study- someone prepares the dose- someone administers the dose in the animal- take blood samples based on time points- extracting samples and those samples get sent for analysis. This individual will handle the animal study all in test tubes (not animal or clinical setting). Will be using a cell line, blood or plasma. Will be doing studies from start to finish. Seeding cells onto assay plates Harvesting plates Running extractions Some experience with analytical techniques like: plate reader, LC-MS, radio reader compounds (more than likely will not have this experience)
