We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment. In this hands-on field position, you will learn from the best the art of cable installation in new construction, existing infrastructures, factories, and medical facilities where you will install, troubleshoot, and work as a team to get the job done. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Installation of low-voltage cabling such as voice, data, security, paging, nurse-call systems, fiber optic, etc. Cross connect cable Perform fiber splicing and termination of cable according to color codes Test for polarity, connectivity, and repair Install racks and patch panels Set up computer rooms Process paperwork accurately and timely Maintain compliance with company and OSHA safety standards Education/Skills/Job Experience Requirements: At least 18 years of age High School diploma or GED Solid attention to detail with good follow-through Ability to work in a team environment with demonstrated positive attitude Must have valid driver\'s license in good standing, a vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance with the ability to commute to various job sites Flexibility of work hours - Shifts can vary based on customer demands and may include, but is not limited to: occasional nights, weekends, and holidays. Successfully pass pre-employment screening Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, lift, twist, turn, and crawl into tight spaces such as desks, cubicles, and ceilings.
