JOB REQUIREMENTS: Looking for a motivated person with an upbeat personality to provide support to the veteran community and local regulars including families. Experience helpful, but not required. We offer a laid back atmosphere, a great clientele, and some of the best views in the Madison Area. Our Bartenders perform a variety of tasks including bartending, cooking, customer service, station prep and basic cleaning/stocking. Flexible, part time hours available. You keep 100% of your tips along with your wage. Wage based on experience. Ask customers who become loud and obnoxious to leave, or physically remove them. Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers\' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Clean bars, work areas, and tables. Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. Collect money for drinks served. Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar. Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer. Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks. Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Previous bartending and experience with a Point of Sale system helpful.
