JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Assistant Director role is a leadership opportunity to advance the Early Childhood Health Consultation program in promoting the health & wellbeing within early childhood care & education. This position will be responsible for oversight of program expansion, coordination of program services, supervision of outreach team members, facilitation of team collaboration, and management of programmatic reporting. This position will report to Dr. Dipesh Navsaria, Early Childhood Health Consultation Program Director, Clinical Professor of Human Development & Family Studies, and Outreach Faculty Fellow for the Child Development Lab at the School of Human Ecology. Dr. Navsaria also holds an appointment at the School of Medicine and Public Health. This position\'s operational unit will be with the Department of Human Development and Family Studies in the School of Human Ecology. The Assistant Director will work in collaboration with Dr. Navsaria, the Early Childhood Health Consultation program team, and the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families. Responsibilities: Coordinates management of multiple related projects and/or ongoing operations, which are directed toward a common objective. Monitors the cost, schedule, and performance of component projects and operations while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program. 15% Creates a program plan and structure, monitors progress and performance against the program plan, and identifies, resolves, or escalates program risks and issues 10% Leads and manages efforts to determine and coordinate the sharing of resources among component projects to the overall benefit of the program 10% Manages the activities of outside contractors and vendors to ensure they are integrated into the program and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service 10% Facilitates the estimation of program costs, resources, and time required to complete the overall program, monitors activities and budgets, directs and leads component project manager activities for consistency and alignment, and works with program leadership to ensure these targets are met.
