Job Requirements:

As a Laundry Aide you will wash, dry and fold clean linen according to procedures.

Deliver clean and sanitary linen and personal clothing to designated areas. Responsible for keeping work area clean and sanitary.

Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all residents, families, visitors and fellow employees to insure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.

You will foster mature professional relationships with fellow employees in a courteous, friendly manner.

You will need to be able to maintain your professional composure and confidence during stressful situations.

Youu will maintain open communication using appropriate chain of command regarding issues.

You will conduct all work activities with respect for rights and wishes of residents, visitors, families and fellow employees.

You will maintain the confidentiality of all Bethel and resident information at all times.

Your appearance neesds to be in proper attire and identification as required by the position and Bethel policy.

You will need to display a positive attitude within Bethel and across departmental lines to contribute to the overall customer service program in place.

The Laundry Aide will participate in staff meetings as determined by Supervisor.

The Laundry Aide will complete work assignments on time/readily accepts assignments.

You will reports to work on time and is at work as scheduled.

You will operate assigned equipment and perform all procedures in a safe manner.

You will demonstrates proper body mechanics in all functions.

You will report safety concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.

Follows Bethel’s exposure control plans/blood-borne and airborne pathogens by demonstrating knowledge of techniques, procedures and correct use of protective barrier equipment (Universal Precautions).
