Overall Functions

This person oversees all functions of the team, including providing backup support as necessary. This person also makes recommendations on how to minimize the divisions/banks exposure and ensure that credit policy and procedures are followed.

Qualifications

This person should have a bachelors degree, plus five years of related experience or the equivalent. This person should have a sound understanding of the factoring industry. This person must have a proven track record of solid leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and team-building skills. This person must also possess good communication skills and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the team and develop an atmosphere of teamwork, open communication and unity. Provide oversight of all services offered. Actively mentor staff and ensure they are trained, evaluated, and motivated to perform their responsibilities in an effective and progressive manner.

  2. Oversee daily customer service and invoice processing to ensure that service level agreements are met.

  3. Perform periodic analysis on each team portfolio, and manage verifications and funding based on risk.

  4. Manage Red Flags and service to special care clients and debtors.

  5. Manage the reserve releases and manage negative reserve balances and formulate recovery plan.

  6. Strategize, manage and implement projects that enhance productivity. Communicate progress and/or concerns to department manager.

  7. Communicate directly with the Officers of the Division regarding all issues related to the above-mentioned duties.

  8. Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.

  9. Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
