Description

SUMMARY:Supervises staff and residents and oversees the operation of assigned sites by performing but not limited to the following duties:

  • Participates in the development and assures compliance of Individual Service Plans, including but not limited to Residential Habilitation Plans, the Level of Supervision Care and Monitoring Guides/Protective Oversight for Treatment Team approved as necessary or required.

  • Interviews, hires, trains and supervises all approved direct care positions in compliance with all agency and departmental policies.

  • Oversee residents' finances, medications and healthcare needs to assure compliance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.

About the ARC’S Residence Program: In the residential program, the most caring people are the trained staff who provide 24-hour supervision, care, and guidance to residents. They assist with personal care needs, cleaning, cooking, medications, and activities.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or GED and minimum 3 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required; Bachelor's degree and previous supervisory experience preferred; valid NYS driver's license with 12 months driving history.
