Titan Engineering & Construction is soliciting applications for a full-time Safety Assistant to work under the Titan Safety Director in operations at the Madison, MS and Columbus, MS branches. 

This position will primarily be based in Madison, MS. 

Travel to the Columbus, MS facility will be required on an occasional basis.

·        New hire paperwork

·       New hire equipment issue forms

·       Plant access internet-based training for new hires and refreshers current employees

·       Coordination of doctor visits for audiometric and pulmonary testing

·       Training log updates and scheduling of training to ensure employees stay in compliance

·       On-site safety audits of crews

·       First aid kit inspections on trucks

·       Coordination of fire extinguisher inspections on trucks

·       Coordination of equipment, tools, and extension cord inspections on trucks

·       OSHA Logs and Reporting

·       MSHA Logs and Reporting

  • Promotion of safety culture within the organization.

     

Minimum Requirements:
