McNaughton-McKay Electric Co. Job Description Title: Delivery Driver - CDL required Hourly rate up to $24.00 per hour DOE Department: Warehouse General Summary: Provides timely and efficient delivery of products to customers, maintain daily delivery and vehicle log. Assists in miscellaneous warehouse duties. Key Responsibilities: Operates various delivery vehicles. Transports products and material to and from specified destinations. Loads and unloads the delivery vehicle. Maintains radio contact with supervisor/leader/manager to receive delivery or pick up instructions. Logs daily stops and time with supervisor/leader/manager. Checks trucks equipment and supplies to ensure road worthiness. Notifies supervisor/leader/manager of current or anticipated repairs. Reports customer feedback and/or areas for improved customer service. Collects payment for C.O.D. orders. Performs filling, checking, and packaging of orders for shipment. Provides assistance throughout the warehouse upon request from supervisor/leader/manager. Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions product weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products. Typically bends, stoops and/or crouches from various heights on a regular basis to stock or deliver product to a customer. Operates forklift: proper training and certification required. May also use material handling equipment (including pallet jack, dollies & handcart). Cleans truck and maintains work area to ensure compliance to safety regulations. Assists in creating, implementing and revising work procedures and instructions. Supports the quality initiatives set forth by the region. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: High school diploma or GED required. Familiarity with local driving area and previous delivery experience preferred. CDL license. Must conduct self professionally when dealing with customers and staff.
