This role requires working cross-functionally across multiple departments to develop a product portfolio and lead the design of the manufacturing process, including traveling to our production facility in Vietnam. Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the manufacturing process for new products in agricultural fencing to meet master expectations for quality and functionality

  • Document Quality Control issues and communicate with customers, sales, and production staff to resolve issues

  • Work closely with overseas manufacturing team to ensure that correct procedures are followed, potential problems/delays are avoided, actual problems are identified, and the appropriate corrective action is taken to satisfy the customer's expectations.

  • Recommend new technology or methods to ensure quality and efficient production of products

  • Support production through recommendations on assembly methods, line balance, operator training, and process control

  • Investigate new developments in the steel / Ag fencing field to evaluate their application to improve or remedy the manufacturing processes.

  • Assist in new product development to match the voice of customer, innovation, and product evolution

  • Assist in the development of the MATI agricultural fencing products including Horse and Field Fencing non-climb / vmesh, Hinge, S Knot, Cross Lock, etc

  • Work closely with production and sales to monitor product attributes and align engineering designs with market demands and company capabilities

Education/Experience:

  • 10+ years of work experience in a product management role for agricultural fencing

  • Bachelor’s degree - BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred.

  • Microsoft Office skill a must; Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop a plus
