Conagra 3rd Shift Superintendent in Macon, Missouri

Reporting to the Plant Manager at our Macon, MO manufacturing facility, local producer of Banquet, Healthy Choice, Bird's Eye, Bertolli's, and Marie Callendar products, you will direct plant personnel on 3rd shift. You will train and support personnel to meet business demands while partnering with Sanitation, Production and Maintenance leadership on personnel issues, hiring, training, evaluations, and corrective counseling.
What Impact Will You Have On Our Business:
Be responsible for food safety and quality for all products and facilities.
Mentor maintenance and sanitation supervisors and be the main contact for all 3rd Shift teams including sanitation, maintenance and production.
Assure compliance of all regulations and corporate policies.
Promote continuous improvement in processes to improve safety, cost effectiveness, and product quality.
You will ensure the reporting of ingredient usage and labor figures for proper costing and recall requirements.
Lead 3rd shift teams on break down and set up of all manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production startup.
Share metrics with supervisors to promote continuous improvement.
Do You Have What It Takes:
Associate's Degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of education requirements.
2+ years Experience in manufacturing industry.
2+ years Experience with Maintenance practices.
2+ years Experience with Sanitation practices.
3-5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
