Service Manager - Home Services

Position Summary: Oversee all aspects of Service Center operations including the management of revenue, sales, profit, human resource activities, training, and compliance. Ensure uncompromised service to customers and Team Members with a commitment to our Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure compliance with product labels, licensing, recurring training requirements, and existing company policies

  • Foster and enforce a consistent culture of safety in line with our core values

  • Drive commitments within your team to provide uncompromised customer service

  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally

  • Create and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and sales budgets

  • Daily oversight of expenditures that impact profit

  • Manage daily and monthly production goals

  • Create a positive sales culture that facilitates the achievement of Service Center goals

  • Adhere to company pricing and sales guidelines

  • Manage accounts receivable process

  • Process accounts payable invoices and checks for accuracy

  • Manage cash funds, company credit card(s), and expense reports

  • Assess and negotiate customer warranty claims

  • Manage payroll and HR-required activities

  • Maintain effective staffing levels by hiring for open positions and forecasting for future needs

  • Regularly lead performance feedback and reviews

  • Explain & train on compliance, inspection, treatment, materials and sales procedures

  • Conduct routine Check-ins of Team Members

  • Maintain records within company and government guidelines for Team Members, the Service Center, and customers

  • Manage and maintain fleet, equipment, and material inventory

  • Conduct Monthly Truck Inspections

  • Enter vehicle maintenance into PestPac monthly

  • Other duties as required

  • Maintain Service center needs from Cleanliness to Cosmetically

  • Troubleshoot Customer accounts

  • Manage Afterhours/Weekend calls as needed

  • Manage Service Employees Daily

  • Work Closely With H.E's

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Industry experience (preferred)

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Conflict resolution

  • Effectively operate internal applications and software (Paycom, PestPac, Applicant Pro, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, other web-based portals)

  • Proven track record in achieving sales results

  • Proven ability to multi-task

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to pass any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams

  • Able to work a 40-hour (minimum) work week,

  • Accessible after hours (including weekends/holidays)

  • Possess a current Driver's License in the state where you work

  • Meets company driving standards

  • High school degree or equivalency, college preferred

    Physical Demands:

    The work environment and physical demands described below are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing essential functions of this job.

  • Constant mobility including walking, crawling, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting, looking, probing, climbing, pushing, pulling, balancing, stretching and standing for long periods

  • Climbing into attics and crawling in crawlspaces

  • Daily physical labor

  • Lifting up to 50lbs

  • Driving of automatic vehicle

  • Working with Wild animals- Raccoons, Possums, Rats, Mice, Snakes, Bats, Flying Squirrels, Grey Squirrels, and More.

    Environmental Factors:

  • Work both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions

  • May withstand extreme conditions such as heat in an attic in Summer or chill of a crawlspace in Winter

  • Exposure to vegetation, dust, dirt, insects and animal remains

  • Some work in cramped spaces
