This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/12819010 Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery such as planter, payloader, loader, bobcat, harvester to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, hay, corn, rye; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to employers fields, load employers crops and drive trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm.; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools; Identify sick and lame cattle; Move livestock from one location to another and assist in sorting; Keep records of cattle movements and reasons; Be willing to be trained in operating a hydraulic chute; Follow written and verbal instruction on feeding bulk feed, supplements, and watering.

Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
