We are seeking entry level Maintenance Technician with experience with preventative maintenance on production machinary on 2nd and 3rd shifts for a global manufacturing company in Machesney Park, IL!

This is a great direct hire opportunity for entry level (mechanically inclined) candidates looking to grow and develop career with a major automotive component manufacturer! Pay rates up to $28hr w/differential DOE

Ideal candidates:

  • Are tenured (minimum of 3 years of industry experience)

  • Have some technical education or training

  • Apprenticeship or journeyman experience

  • Working knowledge of robotics, hydraulics and/or electric systems for both relay and solid state machinery,

Responsibilities:

  • Repair, install, and adjust industrial production and molding/processing machinery

  • Troubleshoot and solve assembly process conditions to ensure quality and prevent non-conformance resulting in increased uptime.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance

  • Cross train with maintenance lead for assembly/molding machines to further gain technical knowledge in these process paths as needed.

  • Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve maintenance/manufacturing requirements both through management direction and independent thinking.

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in repairing production or manufacturing machinery

  • Working knowledge of robotics, hydraulics and/or electric systems for both relay and solid state machinery,
