Statement of Purpose:

The Senior Financial Analyst develops and provides key analytical support on a variety of business and strategic matters. Main responsibilities will include evaluating financial data, providing informed recommendations, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Through data gathering, interaction with department leaders, interpretation of information and summarization of findings, provides visibility and insight to the business operations and to senior leadership. Provides productivity and performance scorecards and KPI tracking to support strategic business decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop decision support tools to support business decisions.

  • Drive continuous process improvements and automation initiatives within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Analyze current operations performance to develop insights and promote future growth opportunities.

  • Develop financial modeling to understand the impact of sales and profitability opportunities.

  • Develop new reporting to evaluate trends in key performance indicators and monitor performance of select areas.

  • Provide analytical support and recommendations for key organizational strategies, including but not limited to office performance, division profitability, and investment initiatives.

  • Build partnerships with key departments (HR, IT, Marketing) within the home office to facilitate and enhance activities.

  • Provide financial information and insight on a wide variety of specialty projects.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Extensive understanding of business operations.

  • Hard working with the ability to work in a fast paced, multiple project environment, with strong attention to detail.

  • Proven abilities in process improvement, collaboration, and strategic thinking

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional, outgoing personality, flexibility and adaptability to change

  • High level of personal drive and initiative

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to anticipate needs and proactively utilize appropriate resources to resolve issues

  • Ability to multi-task, meet specified deadlines and maintain a flexible, positive attitude.

  • Problem solving skills and a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to manage priorities and to make routine decisions independently

  • Sets clear priorities and focuses time and energy on them

  • Takes action; reliably delivers on commitments

Technical Expertise:

  • High proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) and business and accounting related applications including Tableau.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting or Finance.

  • Five to seven years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis.

  • Ability to read and interpret financial statements and proficiency in general accounting processes and procedures.
