Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day Human Resources area, providing administrative support to the human resources department. Assist with recruitment, reporting, record maintenance, and processing of temporary, hourly and salary payroll processing. Job Responsibilities: * Assists with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. * Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources and management team. * Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies). * Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, policies, benefits, and attendance. * Process payroll by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.) * Plan, coordinate and conduct employee new hire orientation and assign photo id badges. * Build relationships with external staffing agencies to recruit for hourly roles. * Preparing and running data-driven reports, weekly, monthly, and quarterly. * Enters purchase orders in IQMS to purchase employee uniforms, stocks uniforms, and distributes to new hires * Serves on the Employee Activities Committee Education/ Previous Experience: * High School Diploma * 3+ years of experience in Human Resources. * Must be able to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and high levels of discretion and sensitivity. * Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with HR software. * Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal. * Excellent organizational skills. * Process-driven; proven analytic and problem-solving abilities. * Able to work autonomously and in team environment LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
