Job Description:

GDIT is looking for a ZT Enterprise - API Integration Expert to join Team GDIT. Make a direct impact on our customer’s mission while you secure and protect national security interests and implement security process improvements.

About the Contract

  • Full range of modernized Enterprise IT-related services and technical recommendations to provide USCENTCOM with Next-generation infrastructure services (cloud and end-to-end automation) at HQ in Tampa Florida, as well as supporting CONUS and OCONUS locations

  • Scope includes enterprise IT operations and maintenance, telephony, cable and communications infrastructure systems and server maintenance, customer- facing and desktop services, audio/visual and wireless technology, executive communications services, IT training, software and network engineering, defensive cyber operations, cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and IT services

Job Description:

  • API expert must be able to develop and work with software developers to provide APIs for web-based, API-enabled application, Cyber tools, network tools, Remote server, Specific data request and Returned data/function.

  • The expert needs to know scripting languages such Python, .NET, and Java. Must be able to show and recommend API types required or essential APIs for efficient and effective aid for API-enabled applications to successfully communicate with online servers to make information requests.

  • Must develop a well-designed developer portal stocked with high-quality API documentation and productivity tools.

  • Ensures consistent API quality and security through design, development, and deployment.

  • Must be able to provide API layer of two or more applications to make them talk to each other and also add an extra layer of automation for updates of data in applications in response to updates on one side for certain data types.

  • Show understanding of use of middleware integration tools built to tie together different software applications.

  • Provide recommendations for either use of lightweight or Heavy-duty enterprise systems.

Certifications: Appropriately certified for their designated role in accordance with DoD 8140, DFARS 252.239-7001, or any successor policies or regulations; Possesses a DoD 8140 approved baseline certification or higher.
