Job Summary: Operate Sewer cleaning equipment as part of the service contract duties and responsibilities to company customers. Operate equipment in accordance with safety and operating guidelines. Address: 6150 Nichols Drive Mableton, GA 30126 Hours: 8pm-5am Job Responsibilities: Perform duties in conjunction with a work crew to clean and clear sewers, catch basins and remove wastewater. Drive and operate company trucks and equipment. Service various customer needs using company equipment. Operate JetVac and related equipment. Complete paperwork related to the work and company / customer requirements. Interact with customers to ensure the work is completed to their satisfaction. Communicate with office regarding obstacles, needs and customer interactions. Document any changes to the scope of work or project changes. Accept additional duties and responsibilities as required. Troubleshoot equipment, repair, or facilitate repair as necessary Job Requirements: CDL Class A or B Tanker and Air Brake Endorsement Clean Driving Record DOT Medical Card Ability to read a map Ability to lift 70 lbs. Ability to pull hose up to 500 feet Ability to understand DOT requirements and regulations Availability for a significant amount of overtime during peak periods Honesty/ Integrity required Attendance and punctuality required Ability to communicate both written and verbal Requires work performed in outdoor environments/exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, heights, and confined spaces Exposure to noxious odors/fumes and moderate to high noise levels Exposure to bodily fluids / human waste, etc. Possibility of working out of town for extended periods of time Moderate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required. Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.
