Cypress Semiconductor Corporation Senior Staff Product Engineer in Lynnwood, Washington

Cypress Semiconductor Corporation is seeking a Senior Staff Product Engineer (Lynnwood, WA) to develop test and validation plans and test coverage. Perform characterization and validation of new products and oversee qualification of new products. Perform failure analysis to resolve qualification failures, both internal and from customer returns. Perform data analysis for limit setting, yield enhancement, product cost reduction, and device reliability improvement. Trouble shoot manufacturing issue and own the process to bring new products from 1^st^ silicon to mass production. Responsible for project development planning and development strategy in close collaboration with other functions, including marketing, design, test, packaging, and operations. Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and provide guidance to junior staff. 5% domestic travel required, 5% international travel required. Local telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.

 

Salary Range: $145,413 to $159,954.30 per year

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of experience in new product development related to microcontrollers. Must have the following experience: integrated circuits; semiconductor devices; integrated analog and digital IC circuit theory; high-volume test methodologies of integrated circuits; semiconductor fabrication processes; lab instruments and ATE testers including Nextest Magnum and Advantest V93K; yield analysis with JMP, Spotfire, OptimalPlus; and failure analysis. 5% domestic travel required, 5% international travel required.
