Facilitator 2 - Robotics in Manufacturing Program

SALARY:$73,490.62- $77,885.42

LOCATION:Everett, WA  (See "Work Schedule" below for details)

DESCRIPTION: Seeking experienced and skilled manufacturing leaders to train the next generation of the workforce. Working closely with the Administrator, the position responsibilities include the development and delivery of training and classroom/lab instruction supporting various aspects of the manufacturing industry, including aerospace, maritime, construction and robotics. This professional exempt position reports to the Associate Director. The Facilitator 2 reviews various manufacturing curriculum and excels at delivering training to groups of students/employees in the classroom, and labs. The position may be required to teach one or more of the following classes: robotics and automation, assembly, electrical, composite layup, tooling, quality assurance, maintenance and troubleshooting. 

The Robotics in Manufacturing Program includes coursework on fundamentals of robotics, electrical systems in robotic systems, electro-mechanical control systems, and simple robot programming and programmable logic controllers. 

The Facilitator 2 will be responsible for the evaluation and grading of students, will supervise students in the classroom and labs, and will conduct conflict resolution. The Facilitator 2 is responsible for the removal of hazmat materials. 

This is an exempt position reporting directly to the Associate Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of manufacturing experience, OR
  • 2 years of industrial hands-on experience in any of  the following areas:  automation, composites, electrical, mechanical systems, manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, plumbing, stand-alone drill motors, power/precision measuring  tools, torque equipment, and various other pneumatic tools.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years of training in an industrial setting with experience facilitating web-based, classroom, and lab-based training.
  • Experience working with robotics in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Interest in working with individuals and teams to share manufacturing knowledge while guiding them to achieve success.
  • Strong communication skills.
