8AM-4:30PM Shift Paid Time Off Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse working for a family company. Locally owned andoperated. Reports To: Resident Services Director/Executive Director Status: For Profit

**SUMMARY Provides residents with nursing services and administers medications and treatment in accordance with physicians' orders within state licensure regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.*

Assists in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment in the best interests of residents.

Takes charge and implements procedures for anefficient, caring health environment. No corporate red-tape here!

Monitors residents within state licensure regulations; may supervise and direct resident assistants where allowed by state licensure regulations.

Assists in writing service plans based on resident needs.

Obtains and administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician. Documents and reviews medication and treatment sheets for accuracy and compliance with physician orders, professional standards, federal and state regulations and company policy.

Monitors responses to treatment plans. Possesses knowledge of medication interactions and notifies Resident Care Coordinator/HeaIth Care Coordinator of any occurrences.
